Restore The Music UK: Gary Powell

DRUMMER: THE LIBERTINES, DIRTY PRETTY THINGS DJ, RADIO X PRESENTER

Musician, label owner & hero to a generation of music fans, Gary Powell is best known as a member of The Libertines.

In October, Powell presented a four-part radio series, curating a playlist of songs and stories that explored the influence of pioneering Black musicians on indie rock and alternative music through the generations.

Colin Barlow

Restore The Music UK: Colin Barlow

MUSIC INDUSTRY EXECUTIVE, A&R EXPERT

Barlow is a respected UK record label executive and A&R. As former President of Sony RCA, Polydor and Geffen UK, he signed artists including Lighthouse Family, James Morrison, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs & Bring Me The Horizon.

Barlow is currently establishing a music industry mentor network for students across the UK.

Anita Blay

Restore The Music UK: Anita Blay

SONGWRITER, MUSICAL ARTIST

Blay has been an artistic force in the UK music industry since the age of 17. Her debut album (as Cocknbullkid) was released on Island Records in 2011. Anita's writing credits include smash singles for Neon Jungle, Little Mix & OneRepublic. Her latest collaboration is with Kae Tempest & High Contrast, and has a new single due for release late Spring.

In 2018, Anita visited Skinners' Academy with RTM UK, providing songwriting and performance mentorship for GCSE students.

Emma Hatton

Restore The Music UK: Emma Hatton

MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMER, SINGER SONGWRITER, PRESENTER, MUSIC CHARITY AMBASSADOR

Hatton's soaring voice & transformations have gained a huge fanbase in the West End: starring as Eva Peron in Evita, Elphaba in Wicked Scaramouche in We Will Rock You & Grizabella in Cats. She collected the Olivier Award on behalf of Wicked & is a regular guest across the BBC.

Hatton is additionally a radio presenter & Ambassador for Nordoff Robbins. Her podcast "Dear Music..." explores our collective love affair with music & supports UK music charities. Emma consistently leads masterclasses & workshops in Musical Theatre throughout the UK.
